She is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Olin College of Engineering, specializing in exploration and benchmarking within reinforcement learning and robotics. She is also deeply passionate about AI ethics and undergraduate teaching.
She completed her PhD at the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), where she was advised by Abhinav Gupta. Her doctoral research was supported by the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) and the Siebel Scholars program. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
In addition to her academic background, she has gained professional experience at renowned organizations such as DeepMind, Waymo, Deep Genomics, Counsyl, Google, and Coursera.
