Dhruv Shah

Senior Research Scientist at Google DeepMind

He is a Senior Research Scientist at Google DeepMind, specializing in foundation models for robotics. Previously, he earned his PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at UC Berkeley, where he was advised by Sergey Levine. His research was supported by the Berkeley Fellowship for Graduate Study and has been nominated for (and received) several Best Paper Awards at leading robotics conferences, including RSS and ICRA.

Earlier in his academic journey, he graduated with honors from IIT Bombay, where he was awarded the Undergraduate Research Award and the Institute Academic Prize. He has also had the opportunity to collaborate with Meta AI (FAIR), Google DeepMind (Brain Robotics), Carnegie Mellon University, Imperial College London, and the University of Sydney.
